Shaq Goes In on Kobe in Freestyle

So the boy Shaq Fu is in NYC doin what rich, talented ballplayers do (insert white girl joke here). He's on stage with the young rhyme spitter Corey Gunz and busts out a lil freestyle where he basically shat on Kobe. I thought these dudes were past that but I see The Big Cactus found some pleasure in Kobe's pain. Also, I'm wondering, if a rapper had said this to another rapper, wouldn't he have to end it with "No Homo?" Peep the footage courtesy of TMZ.

I don't even know what else to say about this. I wonder if Kobe is gonna respond in Italian.

Of course, after this hit the nets, Shaq-Fu had to make nice. He's not exactly the Deisel anymore, so I guess he doesn't want Kobe to drop 88 on the defenseless Suns. Peep what he told Stephen A. Smith over at ESPN below.

"I was freestyling. That's all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever. That is what MC's do. They freestyle when called upon. I'm totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all. And by the way, don't forget, six albums, two platinum, two gold. Anybody who knows me knows I'm a funny freestyler. I can only imagine how this convo went. You know, with Stephen A. screaming into the phone making extreme statements and Shaq taking 8 minutes to finsih every sentence:

Shaq: Uh, well, you know, uh, I was, uh, just freestyling. And, uh, thats just, uh, you know, hip hop. Don't forget, uh, I'm the hooper, the hyper, not Christian Laetner, uh, not Alonzo Mourning.
