Rick Ross and Foxy Brown Engaged?!!!

Hip Hop Weekly (the old Source staff) got an exclusive from the all-knowing "source close to the situation" indicating that the two lovebirds will announce their engagement at the BET Awards on Tuesday in Cali. See, told you all they weren't doin this for publicity...

The couple is rumored to be taking a short vacation (read: photo op) before making the announcement to the Hip Hop universe. Rick is currently riding the success of his sophmore album Trilla, by preparing to become the boss of his own label, Maybach Music Group while also garnering a role alongside David Banner in the upcoming gangsta flick Days of Wrath with Laurence Fishburn, Taye Diggs and Wilmer Valderrama (don't the last two scream gangsta!). Fox Boogie is trying to overcome her brick, Brooklyn's Don Diva and will drop her next solo disc, Black Roses as early as this fall.

It's funny to me that more than a few sites on these here internets are calling these two Hip Hop's newest power couple. For some reason, I always thought that term was reserved for people who, you know, actually had power in the industry. But can I be the first one to call them Rick-Fox? Anyway, I'm just sayin, if you were working the door at a party with only three tables left and had Jay/Beyonce, Jermaine/Janet, Nelly/Ashanti and Rick/Fox in line... whose not gettin in?
